About me...

Hi, my name is Karen, and thanks for being here. I am the founder of yogatility®. My goal is to empower women to move and breathe in a way that works with the body instead of against it.

Yogatility was inspired by my love for both yoga and fertility. In addition to being a certified yoga teacher and an embodied yoga life coach, I have also studied, researched and worked in the fertility sector for over 20 years.

I’ve worked as a senior clinical embryologist; I hold a doctorate in embryology and a degree in Pharmacology. In addition, I have a postgraduate certificate in assisted reproduction techniques and won several awards and written both scientific publications and various articles during my time as both a researcher and embryologist. I have been a part of thousands of peoples’ fertility journeys and have analysed and cared for thousands of embryos.

My considerable amount of knowledge and experience in reproductive science means that I have witnessed first-hand the profound affect trying to conceive, and hormonal changes, can have on people’s emotional, physical and mental wellbeing.

Whether it's in the membership or, a live bespoke one-on-one session, I can't wait to support you during this time in your life. Forget what you think yoga should look like and roll out your yoga mat with me.

The gift of yoga is so much more than you think…

My approach is friendly, gentle and compassionate. I ask you to come with an open mind and forget what you think yoga should look like. My unique approach combines breath work, yoga, cutting-edge somatic yoga, embodiment practices and nervous system regulation.

Sending love, Karen x

What does yogatility® offer for my fertility journey?

Whether it's the membership, 1:1 support or, group sessions, Yogatility® offers support if you are struggling with how your mind and body feels as you try to conceive. The aim is to encourage you to move and breathe in a more supportive way so that you can work with your body, instead of against it. It is a safe place where you can embrace and process how you really feel.

A deep desire to have a family can have a profound affect on every aspect of your life. During such times of intense stress you may feel overwhelmed, anxious and out of control. This can all make the rollercoaster of trying to conceive seem even more difficult. My aim is to provide support wherever you are on your fertility journey and encourage you to have a better relationship with your body by empowering you with tools (in the form of yoga and breath work) to help you cope with unexpected challenges. This experience is all about cultivating a healthy relationship with your body and ultimately taking better care during this challenging time. Whilst you may feel out of control, one of the things you can control is prioritising your own physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

What does yogatility® offer for women's health?

Yogatility® offers support if you are struggling with how your mind and body feels as you experience hormonal changes. The aim is to encourage you to move and breathe in a more supportive way so that you can work with your body, instead of against it. It is a safe place where you can embrace and process how you really feel.

Certain yoga poses and breathing exercises can support menstrual and menopause health. At yogatility, I want to promote a culture where women listen and prioritise responding to their cyclical hormonal rhythms instead of resisting them. Our hormones can affect everything from our mood and skin to our energy levels. Making us feel like a superhero one day and then totally wiped out the next. Fluctuating hormones, can result in fatigue, migraines, mood swings and even digestive issues.

I want to support and help you look inwards and work with your body and hormones so that you can better support yourself. Raising your awareness of how your hormones make you feel, will allow you to adjust your patterns to promote a healthy relationship with yourself. Yogatility encourages tracking how you feel during different phases of your menstrual cycle or, hormonal changes to better understand how your body and mindset changes throughout.
